para1There are plenty of political photographs that make me any combination of angry and sad.
Whoever took this photo probably didn't realize that they were producing the photographic equivalent of Goya's The Dog. But where you can only interpret loneliness and abandonment into Goya's painting, you don't to do such thing with this photograph. It's simply there, no interpretation necessary.
